Custom Wine Cellar Doors
Insulated, Refrigeration-Sealed Wine Vault Doors With Reflective Insulation
Sportsman Steel Safes has been building vault doors to secure safe rooms and wine cellars since 1980. As wine collections grow more valuable, our wine cellar doors protect and showcase them — combining reflective insulation and refrigeration seals to hold temperature, with the beauty of a custom hand-finished door.
Choose a wood-grain, stone or custom finish to match your cellar, and add a glass viewing panel, wrought-iron detail or engraved family crest. Every wine cellar door is custom-built to your opening in the USA.

Insulated & Refrigeration-Sealed — Built to Your Opening
Keep Your Wine in a Safe Environment
Our wine cellar doors are insulated with Temp-Shield reflective insulation — two layers of barrier bubble laminate sandwiched between layers of aluminium foil for excellent thermal resistance. The tiny bubbles hold air retention pods that add further resistance to heat.
The insulation works both ways: it contains heat or resists it to hold low temperatures. That means the door keeps your bottles cool and protects them in a mild fire. It reflects 97% of radiant energy and resists the other kinds of heat transfer, giving resistance against all three types of heat flow — conduction, convection and radiation. It also forms a barrier against moisture, air currents, vapours, fungus, insects and nesting rodents.
Easy to Open, and Cost-Effective
The heavy-duty wine cellar door is balanced on two floating pins, so it opens with a breeze, and it can be fitted with a quick-access digital lock that opens in a split second.
It doesn’t make sense to buy a regular wine cellar door when our wine cellar vault doors sell at the same cost — and our wine cellar vault doors have never been broken into in 49 years. Whether your collection is worth $8,000 or $800,000, a Sportsman-Pentagon vault door gives your cellar a look of sophistication and grandeur. Call us for a quote on 800-266-7150.
