Installing your vault door in the Great State of Tennessee is a breeze. Simply, build your opening 3/8" taller and wider than the vault door you choose from our website. For example, if you're loving our 80" x 42" x 8" vault door, build your opening 80 3/8" tall x 42 3/8" wide x 8" deep. Once your American made vault door is inserted into it's opening, make sure it's level. Then mark the 14 holes that are on the frame directly onto your concrete or wood opening. Then secure our security vault door to your wall by drilling 12 - red-head bolts or lag-bolts into your wood or concrete wall. After your vault is bolted-in, squeeze ten tubes of fireproof caulking into the space between your frame and wall.
