Many gun safe's fireproofing consists of 5/8" drywall and a flat surface door. Drywall only costs $9 a board and a flat surface door only seals on one level. Sportsman's INFERNO 2300 Degree Fire System consists of two layer of drywall/fireboard & two layers of 2300º degree ceramic. And our 1" or 2" Step system doors don't seal on one level. They seal on FIVE LEVELS; where the step door fits into the female step system frame. And it that wasn't enough... we're got two expandable gaskets! That's twice as many as 95% of gun safes. And just to crush the competition, we've added a 3/4" steel door frame to transfer heat from a fire extra slow. It's simply the best. All 2300 Degree Ceramic Fire safes are made in America.
